Notes

General Note
Attributed to Benjamin West by Evans and in Bates, A.C. "Check list of Connecticut almanacs, 1709-1850." Proceedings of the American Antiquarian Society, n.s. v. 24 (1914): 102, 109. But the extensive eclipse predictions are a close version of those in Nathan Daboll's The New-England almanack (New London) for this year; and in the calendar pages the calculations for the moon, most of those for the sun, and many of the astronomical notes are identical with Daboll's.
General Note
Two settings of gathering C noted, with different contents throughout. One has "Anecdotes" at the foot of p. [24]; the other has an advertisement for "Books of various kinds ..." in the corresponding position.
General Note
Advertised in the Norwich packet, Oct. 10, 1793.
General Note
Signatures: [A]⁴ B-C⁴.
